Runway Jewelry

A curated selection of jewelry worn on the runway as part of fashion collections.

These designs were developed in-house from initial concept to final sample, and presented during key shows under the creative direction of Gucci

GUCCI Fall 2023 - Manswear

A refined collection that marks a new chapter in the brand’s evolution, blending heritage and modernity.

The jewelry pieces reinterpret iconic equestrian elements such as the horsebit, offering elegant yet functional designs in brass.

Minimal cross necklaces and a bracelet version of the classic Jackie bag closure add subtle sophistication to the men’s wardrobe.

GUCCI Twinsburg - Spring 2023

A bold and theatrical collection exploring duality and surrealism through jewelry.

Oversized chain necklaces, sculptural earrings, cascading face chains, and resin headpieces redefine adornment as self-expression.

Each piece is a statement — designed to provoke, challenge, and captivate.

GUCCI Cosmogonie - Resort 2023

An esoteric and celestial collection inspired by medieval mysticism and the geometry of Castel del Monte.

Pearls, brass crowns, and veiled ornaments turn jewelry into relics — sacred, coded, and deeply symbolic.

A tribute to forgotten rituals, secret knowledge, and stellar alignment.

GUCCI Exquisite - Fall 2022

This jewelry selection boldly explores theatrical forms and vintage references, reinterpreted with a contemporary attitude.

The collection includes large gold-plated geometric earrings with articulated elements, medals and insignia-inspired brooches, and chunky silver necklaces with baroque animal heads.

A standout piece is the silver-plated brass metal tie, transforming a classic male accessory into a powerful and sculptural statement of identity.

GUCCI Love Parade - Pre-Fall + Spring 2022

This jewelry and accessories collection challenges conventions by merging the sensuality of intimate objects with the glamour of Hollywood maximalism.

Inspired by ergonomic forms and decadent ornamentation, the line features corset-like chokers, sculptural rings, body jewelry — and notably, crystal tiaras and embellished headpieces adorned with rhinestones and pearls.

These pieces elevate the silhouette, framing the face with regal drama while maintaining comfort and confidence.

GUCCI Aria - Resort 2022 + Fall 2021

This jewelry collection explores the contrast between opulence and irony through bold and eclectic pieces that blend baroque references with modern sensuality.

From oversized rings in gold-plated brass to statement chokers and rhinestone-encrusted earrings, each piece is designed to stand out while celebrating craftsmanship and excess.

Jewelry becomes a tool for expression—provocative, glamorous, and unapologetically powerful.

GUCCI Ouverture - Spring + Pre-Fall 2021

This jewelry selection reinterprets Gucci’s sense of drama and symbolism with a play of silver motifs, crystal-studded crosses, lion-head brooch accents, and mixed metal bracelets.

Echoing the theatrical vintage references central to the Ouverture narrative, these pieces reflect baroque and ecclesiastical inspiration reimagined for modern statement.

The collection leans into bold sculptural forms—lion heads, rhinestone edges, shimmering silver surfaces—all balanced by the craftsmanship and layered richness characteristic of Alessandro Michele’s vision.

GUCCI Epilogue - Resort 2021

In the jewelry pieces, visual motifs such as crystal-encrusted crosses, lion-head chokers, and heart-shaped necklaces appear with bold clarity.

But also tribal-inspired necklaces and earrings—featuring layered silver medallions, carved beads and turquoise accents—contribute to an ornamental language rooted in craftsmanship and cultural memory.

The pieces vary in material and scale: sculptural snake bangles, carved filigree elements, oversized brooches and religious iconography blur the line between fashion and relic, creating a theatrical, almost sacred presence.

GUCCI Fall -Winter 2020

To celebrate Michele’s 5th year at Gucci, the collection blends childhood nostalgia with provocation.

Jewelry pieces include playful enamel brooches, toy-like rings, and rhinestone hair accessories—recalling children’s jewelry with a twist.

Oversized silver crosses and leather bondage collars bring contrast and tension, while surreal pieces like butterfly necklaces and sculptural cuffs add a dreamlike edge.

A mix of innocence and daring, in pure Gucci style.

GUCCI Fall 2020 - Menswear

The jewelry in Gucci Fall 2020 Menswear plays with contrasts: a bold mix of irony and symbolism.

Oversized rhinestone crosses, sculptural chokers and brooches shaped like cartoon animals or birds bring together childhood innocence and religious references.

There’s a playful tension between minimal golden pendants and extravagant crystal embellishments—each piece blurring the lines between sacred, sentimental and theatrical.

GUCCI Pre-Fall 2020

This collection blends historical references with Gucci’s iconic symbols in a theatrical and ironic aesthetic.

The jewelry features sacred heart necklaces, crystal logo hair clips, pop-colored cuffs, and playful bow chokers. Pearls, enamel, and zoomorphic details like lion and fish add a whimsical yet refined touch.

GUCCI Spring 2020

This collection blends glamour and symbolism through bold, statement jewelry.

Standout pieces include butterfly chokers and brooches with flexible rhinestone wings, oversized lion-head chokers paired with floral motifs and hair jewels resembling vintage tiaras.

The elephant brooch recalls high jewelry craftsmanship, while the enamelled Dionysus pendant from the archives adds a mythic, heritage-rich touch.

The result is a theatrical, gender-fluid vision of elegance anchored in Gucci’s layered identity.

GUCCI Resort 2020

The jewelry draws inspiration from historical sources such as the Hercules fountain in Arles and Romanian ceremonial helmets, fused with theatrical influences from Cinecittà’s golden age.

The result is a series of sculptural cuffs, statement necklaces, and coin-like medallions that carry the weight of myth, ritual, and legacy.

With references to laurel crowns, mythological masks, and classic forms, the collection bridges antiquity and modernity, honoring Gucci’s ability to transform historical grandeur into wearable iconography.

GUCCI Fall 2019

This collection redefines ornamentation through bold, sculptural forms and surreal symbolism.

Inspired by the golden mask of Agamemnon and ancient Egyptian aesthetics, the jewelry blends historical echoes with a futuristic edge.

Oversized ear motifs, dramatic chokers, and gem-studded collars evoke power, irony, and rebellion.

Each piece becomes a wearable artwork—provocative, theatrical, and unmistakably modern.

GUCCI Pre-Fall 2019

Shot among the ancient vestiges of Pompeii and Herculaneum, each silhouette and jewel feels suspended between past and present.

Rich brocades, caftans, and three‑piece suits are layered over ornamented accessories — from ear‑shaped motifs and cross pendants to pearl chokers and tiger‑head details — creating a visual language steeped in ritual and allegory.

Here, historical symbolism isn’t just referenced: it becomes embedded.

The stone textures, the scorched earth tones, and the theatrical love of excess evoke both the tragedy and beauty of Pompeii, as though the jewelry themselves are relics reclaimed from ash and time.

GUCCI Spring 2019

Bold, symbolic jewelry meets theatrical ornamentation.

In this collection, statement pieces emerge: cascading rhinestone fringe that moves like light in the dark, playful resins in coral tones, enamel‑smalt cat heads and animal motifs, and coral cherry brooches reimagined as small icons.

Echoing the opulence of Le Palace, every jewel becomes a performative relic—half costume, half memory—where decadence turns into sacred expression.

GUCCI Resort 2019

A decadent dream staged in the theatrical grandeur of Arles’ Alyscamps necropolis.

Ancient symbols transformed into maximalist relics of contemporary devotion.

The jewelry becomes a central language of this mysticism:
cloisonné enameled cross pendants, bold lion-head chokers, tiger cameos and shell brooches echo with sacred power.

Colored resin, and engraved silver reinterpret Catholic iconography, mythological creatures, and antique treasures into amulets of personal mythology.

Each piece pulses with duality—sacred and profane, relic and costume, excess and meaning.

GUCCI Fall 2018

Chunky beaded necklaces in ivory tones or multicolor combinations pile up in layers, creating sculptural volumes across the chest.

Resin bangles in carved red, green, and amber, paired with ethnic-inspired silver cuffs inlaid with turquoise and enamel, give a folkloric yet luxurious feel.

Statement resin tiger-head brooches and necklaces, detailed with enamel and crystals, function as protective emblems and theatrical focal points.

Alongside them appear oversized hoops, sometimes doubled or tripled, and playful drop earrings set with multicolored stones.

The language of rhinestone chokers and crystal fringe pieces adds an operatic, dazzling edge, while carved resin beads in jade-like green nod to archaic amulets.

GUCCI Spring 2018

The collection unveils bold, theatrical jewelry infused with bohemian spirit.

Oversized silver necklaces feature animal motifs from the “anger forest,” while sculptural silver hoops reframe the ear with exaggerated proportions.

Chunky floral and GG logo chains in antique-finished silver recall vintage costume jewelry, layered with coral and turquoise bead necklaces enriched by forest-creature pendants.

Strass-studded chokers and pearl strands are crowned with multicolor GG emblems, blending kitsch opulence and archival codes.

GUCCI Resort 2018

Golden laurel crowns and diadems evoked antique Roman triumphs, while a rhinestone lyre headpiece suggested echoes of myth and court ritual.

Jewelry extended beyond the neck and ears: there were hand ornaments in leather and brass, studded like modern armor, alongside star-shaped golden constellations and delicate pearl webs wrapping across the back of the hand.

Chokers appeared in black leather and silver, sometimes adorned with miniature feline heads, while bold finger-spanning rings in gold and pearls transformed the hand into a symbolic tableau.

Brooches featuring grotesque faces in gilt bronze clasped cloaks, oscillating between the sacred and the theatrical.

These pieces blurred the line between jewelry and costume, reviving Renaissance pageantry and classical mythology with Gucci’s eccentric irreverence.

GUCCI Fall 2017

This runway pushed jewelry into the realm of talismanic excess.

Rings dominated: oversized “Thai”-inspired pieces covering multiple fingers, enamel and metal animal heads from the Anger Forest (bulls, eagles, wolves), sometimes painted in naïve bright colors, sometimes cast in silver or bronze with gemstone eyes.

These became portable totems, halfway between amulets and miniature sculptures.

Leather bracelets and chokers doubled as harnesses for chains, often clipped to props such as books — blurring jewelry, bondage, and intellectual fetish.

Maximalist statement rings appeared in swarms of insects, butterflies, or mythological faces, covering the hand like armor.

Other surreal motifs included lacquered geisha and demon heads, jewel-encrusted insects, and theatrical articulated pieces extending across the fingers.

GUCCI Pre-Fall 2017

Jewelry becomes a manifesto: gilt hand pieces engraved with LOVED or crowned with tiger heads, bold chokers in leather and metal, and embroidered earrings that merge baroque excess with symbolic iconography.

Each piece asserts identity and devotion within Gucci’s eclectic universe.

GUCCI Spring 2017

Hand bracelets appeared in gilt brass, shaped as hearts or inscribed with LOVED.

Long embroidered earrings featured floral and animal motifs with couture-like detailing, while gold and diamond rings showcased the signature tiger head.

Together, these pieces mixed craftsmanship, symbolism, and eclectic references into bold everyday statements.
